Experiential Sanctification
Experiential Sanctification is often confused with human works as well as Positional Sanctification. Whereas Positional Sanctification can not be altered, Experiential Sanctification can vary from moment to moment because it is a function of the choices we make in bringing Glory to God. Simply stated it is living a Godly life after salvation which includes:

Metabolizing of Bible Doctrine
Application of Bible Doctrine in our daily lives
2 Peter 3:18 commands us to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What should be duly noted here is that Ephesians 5:18 commands us to be filled with The Holy Spirit and the words used for growing and filling are harmonious. The Greek word for being filled in this passage is the word pleroo which refers to the process of continuing to be made full. The ongoing process of continuous study is what is pictured here; there is no stopping point.
