The Jezebel Spirit
God is Order and has clearly set boundaries for His earth, in the animal and plant kingdom, and for human kind. He has unmistakable benchmarks regarding authority and submission, higher and lower, holy and clean. A perversion of God’s order is chronicled in 1 Kings 16-21 in the history of King Ahab and his wife, Jezebel who both confused the authority and order of male and female as God ordained.
Godly Order demands a submission to those who have the rule over the flock and will not seek to steal that authority for themselves by their own will and scheme. The Jezebel spirit gained control in two ways. First King Ahab
GAVE AWAY his authority by allowing Jezebel to USURP IT ( to confiscate, steal away by force without legal right). And secondly Jezebel TOOK IT for her own purposes. Ahab gave and Jezebel took. A Jezebel spirit cannot steal a ministry or trip up a man of God: this position is either willfully and/or passively given over.Jezebel used and perverted Ahab’s authority as a force to destroy Elijah and bring down God’s authority and voice to His people in Elijah. The Jezebel spirit will seek out the most Godly intercessors to deceive and will go after the Pastors (overseers of the flock). Jezebel spirits will be involved in Bible studies, worship areas, in leadership positions or close to those in leadership appearing as humble Christian servants. Their objective (which can be unknown to them) is to subvert the Word of God by false teaching, promote satan’s kingdom from within, and spiritually cripple the people of God. They bring confusion, and uneasiness. False teachings and pseudo-prophecies using political maneuvering to cause discord and splits within the body.
They practice the doctrine of demons.
The local church is authorized to dismiss Jezebel.
